Gilbard a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 la transformation d\u2019un salon d\u2019appartement en un espace d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 la performance et \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation de contenu pour le blog \u00ab\u202fI like tight pants and mathematics\u202f\u00bb, \u00e9dit\u00e9 par Eric Schrijver et design\u00e9 par Roxanne Maillet.<\/span><br \/><span style=\\\"font-size: 14px;\\\">Le projet se d\u00e9cline en quatre interventions. D\u2019abord, l\u2019installation d\u2019une sc\u00e8ne modulable, compos\u00e9e de dalles de faux-plancher r\u00e9cup\u00e9r\u00e9es du WTC, mises \u00e0 l\u2019envers et polies, reli\u00e9es par une ossature en lattes de bois permettant le passage des c\u00e2bles. La sc\u00e8ne h\u00e9berge le dj-booth, r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par Eric auparavant \u00e0 partir d\u2019un rack serveur peint en rose et d\u2019un plan en marbre rouge. Ensuite, l\u2019installation d\u2019une barre mauve en hauteur, qui fait office de grille technique\u202f; la transformation d\u2019une table en travertin, \u00e9quip\u00e9e de roues jaunes et de proth\u00e8ses mauves pour s\u2019adapter aux contours de la pi\u00e8ce\u202f; la cr\u00e9ation d\u2019un \u00e9tabli sur mesure, con\u00e7u pour travailler le bois, le textile et l\u2019\u00e9lectronique. Ce qui relie ces diff\u00e9rentes interventions est un langage visuel form\u00e9 non par soustraction mais par proth\u00e8se: le m\u00e9tal et le travertin sont transform\u00e9s par l\u2019ajout de diff\u00e9rentes formes en bois recompos\u00e9es, teintes en mauve glossy. <\/span><br \/><span style=\\\"font-size: 14px;\\\">Branch\u00e9\u00b7e s\u2019inscrit dans le cadre de la recherche artistique \u00e9ponyme soutenue par le FNRS\/FRArt, avec l\u2019accompagnement d\u2019art\/recherche et en collaboration avec l\u2019ESA le75. Iels soutiennent Eric Schrijver dans son exploration d\u2019une esth\u00e9tique anti-minimaliste et anti-miniaturis\u00e9e des objets techniques et \u00e9lectroniques. Gilbard werkte mee aan de transformatie van een appartementssalon tot een ruimte gewijd aan performance en contentcreatie voor de blog <em data-start=\\\"298\\\" data-end=\\\"334\\\">I like tight pants and mathematics<\/em>, uitgegeven door Eric Schrijver en vormgegeven door <span class=\\\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\\\"><span class=\\\"whitespace-normal\\\">Roxanne Maillet<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\\\"427\\\" data-end=\\\"1174\\\"><span style=\\\"font-size: 14px;\\\">Het project bestaat uit vier ingrepen. Eerst werd een modulaire sc\u00e8ne ge\u00efnstalleerd, opgebouwd uit verhoogde-vloerpanelen die werden gerecupereerd uit het WTC, omgekeerd en gepolijst. Deze zijn verbonden door een houten lattenstructuur die de doorvoer van kabels mogelijk maakt. De sc\u00e8ne huisvest de dj-booth, die Eric eerder realiseerde uit een roze geschilderd serverrack met een blad van rood marmer. Vervolgens werd een paarse balk hoog in de ruimte ge\u00efnstalleerd, die dienstdoet als technische grid; daarnaast werd een travertijnen tafel aangepast met gele wielen en paarse protheses zodat ze zich aan de contouren van de ruimte kan aanpassen; ten slotte werd een werkbank op maat ontworpen voor het bewerken van hout, textiel en elektronica.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\\\"1176\\\" data-end=\\\"1452\\\"><span style=\\\"font-size: 14px;\\\">Wat deze verschillende ingrepen met elkaar verbindt, is een visuele taal die niet gebaseerd is op reductie maar op prothese: metaal en travertijn worden getransformeerd door de toevoeging van verschillende vormen uit samengesteld hout, afgewerkt in een glanzende paarse kleur.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\\\"1454\\\" data-end=\\\"2044\\\" data-is-last-node=\\\"\\\" data-is-only-node=\\\"\\\"><span style=\\\"font-size: 14px;\\\">Branch\u00e9\u00b7e maakt deel uit van het gelijknamige artistieke onderzoeksproject, ondersteund door <span class=\\\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\\\"><span class=\\\"whitespace-normal\\\">FNRS<\/span><\/span>\/<span class=\\\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\\\"><span class=\\\"whitespace-normal\\\">FRArt<\/span><\/span>, met begeleiding van art\/recherche en in samenwerking met <span class=\\\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\\\"><span class=\\\"whitespace-normal\\\">ESA le75<\/span><\/span>. Zij ondersteunen Eric Schrijver in zijn verkenning van een anti-minimalistische en anti-geminiaturiseerde esthetiek van technische en elektronische objecten. Gilbard contributed to the transformation of an apartment living room into a space dedicated to performance and content creation for the blog <em data-start=\\\"270\\\" data-end=\\\"306\\\">I like tight pants and mathematics<\/em>, edited by Eric Schrijver and designed by Roxanne Maillet.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\\\"367\\\" data-end=\\\"1066\\\"><span style=\\\"font-size: 14px;\\\">The project unfolds through four interventions. First, the installation of a modular stage composed of raised-floor panels salvaged from the WTC, turned upside down and polished, connected by a framework of wooden slats that allows cables to run underneath. The stage hosts the DJ booth, previously built by Eric from a server rack painted pink and topped with a red marble surface. Second, the installation of a purple overhead bar functioning as a technical grid; the transformation of a travertine table fitted with yellow wheels and purple prosthetic extensions to adapt to the contours of the room; and the creation of a custom workbench designed for woodworking, textile work, and electronics.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\\\"1068\\\" data-end=\\\"1310\\\"><span style=\\\"font-size: 14px;\\\">What connects these interventions is a visual language shaped not through subtraction but through prosthesis: metal and travertine are transformed through the addition of various forms made from reconstituted wood, finished in glossy purple.<\/span><\/p><p data-start=\\\"1312\\\" data-end=\\\"1812\\\" data-is-last-node=\\\"\\\" data-is-only-node=\\\"\\\"><span style=\\\"font-size: 14px;\\\"><em data-start=\\\"1312\\\" data-end=\\\"1323\\\">Branch\u00e9\u00b7e<\/em> is part of the artistic research project of the same name, supported by the FNRS\/FRArt, with the support of art\/recherche and in collaboration with ESA le75. Together, they support Eric Schrijver\u2019s exploration of an anti-minimalist and anti-miniaturized aesthetic of technical and electronic objects. The project is therefore an attempt to create a technical and performative environment that stands at the opposite end of the spectrum from the straight: maximalist, colorful, and Eerst werd een modulaire sc\u00e8ne ge\u00efnstalleerd, opgebouwd uit verhoogde-vloerpanelen die werden gerecupereerd uit het WTC, omgekeerd en gepolijst. Deze zijn verbonden door een houten lattenstructuur die de doorvoer van kabels mogelijk maakt. De sc\u00e8ne huisvest de dj-booth, die Eric eerder realiseerde uit een roze geschilderd serverrack met een blad van rood marmer. First, the installation of a modular stage composed of raised-floor panels salvaged from the WTC, turned upside down and polished, connected by a framework of wooden slats that allows cables to run underneath. The stage hosts the DJ booth, previously built by Eric from a server rack painted pink and topped with a red marble surface.
